Research Publication- Indexing and Other Aspects

  • Nishita Gokula Christ University India

Abstract

Making informed decisions about what to study, and defining your research, even within a predetermined field, is critical to a successful research career, and can be one of the hardest challenges for a researcher. The basic meaning of indexing is to indicate something or point something out. It is a set of words or headings that point to a particular article, page or location of a file. However, it should not be confused with classification. An index is a list of references used to locate a particular article, file or page.
