Abstract

Children’s way of looking at things are entirely different from elders. Their curiosity and wonder needs to be considered while writing narratives for them. Their innocence, mind and curiosity needs to be reflected in children literature and adaptations. This paper tries to bring out fantasy elements and mode of narration in a book and its film adaptations to discuss about the urge of child readers.
