Abstract

The basic purpose of this research is a content analysis of violence in the movie ‘Django unchained’. This research studies how the subject violence is portrayed in the movie taken for case study. This research applies content analysis method. The content analysis is done with a case study on the movie through sources like references of articles, artifact, videos and online data’s. The more amount of violence involved in the movie was a risk factor while releasing. The film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, tells the story of a rescued enslaved person named Django, who teams up with his rescuers Getman-immigrant bounty hunter named Dr.King Schultz ,in an effort to capture criminal fugitives “dead or alive”as a way of acquiring monetary awards. Django and Schultz ultimately devise a scheme to liberate Django’s enslaved wife, Broomhilda from the brutal slaveholder Calvin Candie. It is a film about revenge and redemption.
